What really puzzles me about this guy's scam is that the German heiress he was blackmailing didn't spend just a fraction of that $9 million she supposedly paid him in hush money to PUT A CONTRACT OUT ON HIM. If some guy had secretly taped ME having sex with him, and I had that kind of money, I think I'd have him killed rather than waste time on the authorities getting my revenge for me... but that's just me. Another puzzling thing is that this geeky looking guy managed to nail the much more attractive Susanne Klatten at all. She, at 46, is still more than doable -- and he looks like a gay funeral director.

This reminds me a bit of the story a few years back about a sex videotape that some bimbo set Frank Gifford for and sold to a gossip rag (the Enquirer?) for about a million bucks. Even if it was semi-illegal, she's still set for life. Every celebrity (or just rich person of note) would do well to think twice before hooking up with an unknown. In this economy, this kind of crime will become all the more common, even with 'regular people'.

Not to sound like a goody-two-shoes, but I wouldn't have got myself in that position to start with. If I'm correct, they were married women..I saw this on Beelzebub news last night...but even if I was not married, I am not one easily scammed - in fact I am super cautious of anything that would try and part me with what little money I have!!

Nor I, but this is just a hypothetical. She wouldn't have had to be married to have an affair with an unethical man with ulterior motives, and, although that does complicate her situation, it wouldn't make being threatened with exposure of a sex tape any more or less embarassing.

Now, just the thought that people would know she had sex with this ugly geek and given him money -- THAT may have been embarassing enough, even without the tape.
