It's really too hard to narrow down, but I guess my cats (I'm counting them as one thing), a bed, and a toilet. But I also want books and my reading glasses.

TPBM has been listening to Christmas music (voluntarily!).

No, although my mother (after telling me repeatedly that she would be staying home for Christmas) is now saying that if I come to Florida to my brother's, "we would be happy to have you join us", so I guess she's changed her mind. :smt006 But I just don't feel up to it, and I don't have enough time off, anyway.

Well he knew there were no WMD's before going to war against Iraq. He also said recently that if it became common knowledge that there were no WMDs he would have come up with some other reasons to go to war! Disgusting.

Hardly! I already have about a dozen free calendars (and two datebooks), and they're still coming! The only calendar I buy each year is my 365 Cats desk calendar, and I already have that (and another one for my mother, as usual). Out of the free ones, I pick a couple for my own use, give one to my mother, and put the rest out at work for people to help themselves. Sometimes it's hard to choose, though! A lot of them are nice.

Yes! And last week my compact stereo that I have been using for years finally bit the dust. The power went out during a snowstorm, and since then I have been unable to get any FM stations at all - just a lot of static. The CD changer stopped working a few years back, so I guess it's time to give it up. Luckily, I happened to have on hand a clock/radio with CD that I had been using at work for a while when I had a laptop that wouldn't play CDs, but now I have a new desktop computer at work and can play my CDs on that, and had just brought the clock/radio home a week earlier when we changed locations, so that was very convenient! I like to listen to an oldies station in the morning, and cannot do without their local weather forecast! Back when I used to wake up to a buzzer, I somehow learned subconsciously to turn it off in my sleep before it went off, so that would not be good.

TPBM has wrapped all their presents already.

I wish! I usually just hold my breath - sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

TPBM brushes their teeth twice daily and flosses, like a good little doobie. (I was just at the dentist yesterday and given the usual lecture, since I am not a good little doobie!)

I brush twice daily, but dont always floss. floss once every 2 days on average. My dentist keeps telling me off. So I'm not a good 'doobie' whatever one of them is.

TPBM has not been able to finish their dinner today due to feeling 'stuffed'.

Of course. I've donated some money, but that feels like such a cop out. Why do Americans always think they have to do something? Like go down to Haiti even though we'd only add to the chaos.
